Description

The Valstarino is our signature jacket that we created in 1935 and is renowned for its versatile and timeless design. Offered in a navy blue corduroy, which has a wonderfully soft handle with a touch of elasticity for comfort, it's lightly padded for warmth and provides a casual yet elegant look.

Editor's Note

Developed in 1935 in response to the A-1 Flight Jacket, which was a style of blouson worn by USAAC (United States Army Air Corps) pilots between the years of 1927 and 1931, our beloved Valstarino jacket is renowned for being an icon of design that faithfully upholds the Made in Italy tradition of craftsmanship. Due to the timeless silhouette, it allows us to experiment with leathers and fabrics and this season we have selected this corduroy which has a touch of stretch and a glamorous handle. As always, it has a five real horn button front, inverted pleat patch pockets and a wool-blend ribbing. Whether dressed up and treated like a tailored jacket, or down with denim jeans and knitwear, it’s an incredibly versatile option for this season.
