This rollneck jumper is a contemporary take on the classic Aran knit, a style of intricately-designed knitwear made by fisherman's wives in Scotland. Knitted on a 3-gauge machine using 100% cashmere yarns, it has a saddle-style shoulder and is designed to complement our range of jackets and coats. We source our cashmere yarns from Cariaggi, a family-owned spinning mill located in the Marche region in Italy. It's undoubtedly the gold standard in cashmere spinning worldwide – innovative yet traditional and environmentally friendly production methods. In addition, the company works closely with farmers who look after the Capra Hircus Laniger goats in Inner Mongolia. This climate experiences extreme changes in heat as it's baking hot during the day and freezing cold at night. As a result, the goats have evolved fine and long fibres that are exceptionally soft and excellent in thermoregulation. We're very proud to work with Cariaggi on our cashmere knitwear collection.
