As the name suggests, the Yosemite vest draws inspiration from mountaineering apparel, specifically garments from the 19seven0s and 1980s designed and made for a single function. In the case of this vest, that's to keep the wearer warm. It's therefore crafted using soft goat suede for the exterior paired with a goose down quilted lining and shearling trim collar. Easily worn with our comprehensive range of knitwear, this is a functional utility garment you won't want to take off this season. Like every Valstar jacket and coat, it's 100% Made in Italy by our team of artisans using the same traditional techniques and processes we've mastered over more than a century. The suede used here originates from a tannery that's certified by the Leather Working Group (LWC), a prominent international entity that evaluates tanneries' adherence to environmental, social, and governance metrics. This certification underscores the commitment to sustainable and ethical practices in its production.

Minimizing our environmental impact is a top priority at Valstar, we are constantly working to try and improve the sustainability of our products and packaging. All of our boxes and bags are totally recyclable and made of 100% recycled materials. All the cards and envelopes that we use are from sustainable, FSC-certified papers. The garment covers are 100% natural cotton. Our boxes travel by folding flat to ease transportation which significantly reduces their carbon footprint.
