Description

Inspired by a coat once worn by the Swedish army, the Norrland Overcoat is a long, winter-conquering piece of outerwear that's made using premium quality sheepskin.

Editor's Note

There's nothing quite like an imperious winter coat, particularly one that can withstand extreme conditions whilst looking exceptionally stylish. They are the stuff of envy. This Norrland Overcoat is exactly that and is inspired by a vintage Swedish army coat worn during WW2 for soldiers fighting in freezing conditions. They required a sheepskin coat, the interior of which traps pockets of air within the fleece to keep you warm whilst a long body and large collar for increased protection. The pocket details add intrigue and also allow for you to keep larger items within. As with every Valstar garment, this is 100% made in Italy using the same techniques and processes we've mastered over more than a century. The sheepskin leather used here originates from a tannery that's certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), a prominent international entity that evaluates tanneries' adherence to environmental, social, and governance metrics. This certification underscores the commitment to sustainable and ethical practices in its production.
